Wade Kellett
Founder, CEO

The marching arts is one big family, and Wade has been a part of that family ever since his mother took him to a Friday night football game when he was only one week old. Having a father as a band director and a mother as a color guard instructor quickly laid a path for Wade in a career in the marching arts.

Growing up, Wade was involved in multiple band activities including honor bands in high school, studying music at Nebraska Wesleyan, and marching in the Colts Drum and Bugle Corps. He even played in the small drum and bugle corps at his air craft maintenance school for the Air Force.

After joining the Air National Guard, Wade became a Performing Arts Recruiter for Midland University--touring the state of Nebraska and the Midwest to help bring in talent to build the music program. While bringing in students, he helped revive the school's marching band.

During his time at Midland and beyond, Wade brought back the Railmen Drum and Bugle Corps, later renamed to Railmen Performing Arts. The organization included two winter guards, an indoor drum line, an indoor winds group, and a SoundSport drum corps. These groups would go on to win countless local and regional competitions. Among their top performances were DCI SoundSport Champions and second place at WGI World Championships (Percussion - Independent A).
